Dahsyatnya seri G92, Nvidia Geforce 8800GT harga lebih murah dari seri sebelumnya Geforce 8800 GTX, Geforce 8800GTS 640, maupun Geforce 8800 GTS 320, akan tetapi dari pengujian benar-benar mempunyai performa yang jauh diatasnya. Dalam pengujian 3Dmark2005 score yang diperoleh Geforce 8800 GT 5% lebih kencang daripada score Geforce 8800GTX yang mungkin secara harga terpaut dua kali lipat. Sedangkan untuk pengujian dalam 3Dmark2006 Geforce 8800GTX masih lebih bagus, akan tetapi Geforce 8800GT jauh meninggalkan seri 8800GTS 640 maupun 8800GTS 320.
